On Thursday morning, March 21st, 2013, it was sunning, all the students and teachers from Home of Grace got excited to go to NanjingDefensePark, and it is the first time of the series activities To Know Nanjing Better. As soon as we entered into the park, we were attracted by two big aircrafts staying at the field, the teachers gave us some knowledge about theDefensePark, and we took some photos too. Then, we visited double-barreled AA gun, tanks, missiles, torpedo naval vessels and other arms.
After walking along the Defense Pack, we entered intoStoneCity, then small peach orchard, there are flowers blooming in profusion. We found this spring is so beautiful, we are so happy to have time to enjoy it.
Later, we were tired but happy on the way back, and many of us even fell asleep.
To Know Nanjing Better means one day out in a month for the students to investigate and study the people, the events, and the existences in a different place of Nanjing, and to understand the style and features of this city, and to expand students’ living environment and vision.
