Truls Ecological Garden was sponsored by international friendly people, and the name came after the transliteration of a mental retarded boy Truls in Norway.  The farming therapy center is located at No.26 Anshang Village, Hengxi Community, Jiangning District of Nanjing; mainly serve all the mental retarded people inNanjingday care centers; as well as a campsite for short term trainings for teachers, parents and students, and parent-child activities.  Meanwhile, we welcome any social organizations and individuals to come to relax and go fishing, experiencing green living in countryside.

The center is equipped with 9 single beds; 9 double-beds; there is air condition in every bedroom. There is a small vegetable garden, planting with tens of kinds of plants, flowers and vegetables.  Here, the vegetable is free of charge for the visitors.

This ecological farming environment will let you taste the sweet-smelling big pot rice.  The food comes all from peasants’ house.  In order to make the visitors experience the joy of DIY, the center is equipped with noodles maker and bread roaster.  The humanitarians from society and technical teachers will teach the students special hand-made crafts to make them feel the happy and joy from DIY, to gain the fruits of labor, to have self-confidence in their life.

We are taking effort to create a homelike place to release stress, you can choose to involve any field activities you like, such as planting, collecting, pulling out, and watering, etc, you can play some sports, basketball, badminton; you also can join the collective activities or sport games organized by the teachers.
